Eeek! Today is the day: the final reveal of our mud room makeover! I am so excited to share the finale of this space. It has been worth all of the hours spent planning and painting. It was also worth it to wait this long for this mud room makeover. Do you know why? Because living here for over two years has taught me what does and doesn’t work…and I also feel that I’ve found my style in our farmhouse.
I promise not to “talk” much during this mud room makeover reveal. Instead, I will let the before and after pictures do all of the talking for me. If you missed any of the posts along the way you can catch up on them and get more details by clicking on one of these:

I just love a good before and after picture. How about you? Let’s end on some pretty pictures so you can see all of the details of this mud room makeover.

I have to share an up close of a hand-lettered sign that I commissioned my daughter to create for me. This is hanging right next to our door to remind us that as we walk out the door, we are the salt and light of the world.
The whole point of this $100 Room Challenge was to keep the budget under $100 and to show you that you can make over a room on a small budget too. So, let’s look at the breakdown of the budget over the past weeks and total it up.
$100 Room Challenge Budget:
Week One Expenses: $13.47
Week Two Expenses: $23.75
Week Three Expenses: $31.50
Week Four Expenses:
Chalk paint for stool: $4.19
Picture frames: $0 (already had these)
Photos: $0 (printed them at home)
Room Decor: $0 (shopped the house)
Grand Total Spent on this Mud Room Makeover: $72.91
Can I tell you that Mr. Little by Little Farmhouse will be doing a major happy dance when I tell him that I came in under budget! Either that or he may fall over in shock…
I so appreciate you coming back each week to check in on the progress and for cheering me on. I am beyond thrilled with turning an eyesore into a functional, pretty room with character.
My question and challenge for you: what room will you make over on a $100 budget? I would love to see what project you tackle and cheer you on too!
