Hanging a Christmas wreath feels like the official beginning of the holiday season. By using a few simple items, a grapevine bottle brush tree wreath can be a fun DIY, as well as be a little different than the standard wreaths this time of the year.

I am really excited to be sharing this project with you today, along with a group of amazing bloggers, who are bringing some Christmas cheer too! Thank you to this blog hop host, Leen, at Sand Dollar Lane for getting this group together. If you’ve popped over from Kristin at White Arrows Home, I’m so glad you are here! ♥
HOW TO CREATE A GRAPEVINE BOTTLE BRUSH TREE WREATH
This project is really simple and only requires a few supplies. You may even already have everything on hand!
WREATH SUPPLIES
Grapevine wreath {these are fairly inexpensive, but feel free to forage for vines and make your own…we did!}
TWO SIMPLE STEPS
1. Remove the trees from their stands. This gives the wreath a more realistic look as well as making it easier to hot glue them in place.
2. Decide on an arrangement and begin to glue the stems in place. {Arrange the trees in any way you’d like. Varying the heights adds a lot of dimension} Apply the hot glue liberally from all angles to the base of each bottle brush tree. Press into place until set.
DISPLAYING THE BOTTLE BRUSH TREE WREATH
This wreath can be used as indoor or outdoor decor. Hang it on a door, a mirror, a cabinet, your garage…wherever you’d like! The bonus is that it isn’t overtly Christmas and could easily carry over into winter decor.
Merry Christmas, friend! Take a moment and go peek in Amy at Atta Girl Says’s home so you can see her Christmas tree!

Leigh, this wreath is just precious! I love this idea and I would have never thought to do it on my own!! I have several grape vine wreaths and while I love the look of them they always seem a little cold for Christmas decor. I just love the simplicity of your wreath,for some reason it makes me think of the song “In the Bleak Mid Winter”. Good job Leigh!!

Leigh, I love the little forest you created with bottle brush trees and grouping them on a grapevine wreath is brilliant. It’s like a winter wonderland window. Simple ideas like this always capture my attention. Love it and pinning!

This is another great idea! It’s also so simple to achieve. One more thing I can share with both my Daughter’s and my 20 year old Granddaughter. They are always looking for a Christmas project and this is something that even the Grandsons just might enjoy helping with. I really need to break down and buy another hot glue gun. Mine got lost in the move across states. Thank you for all these great Christmas projects!
