Seasonal decorating can be simple and budget-friendly when using natural fall home decor.
NATURAL FALL HOME DECOR
I recently shared my cozy fall living room and it received rave reviews from my family. {Click HERE for that post.} Those are the ones that count the most, right?! But over the weekend, I took it a tiny step further and added some official fall decor. A few little touches in our living room that soon carried over into our entryway, dining room, and kitchen. Oh and be sure to stick around to the end of this post because…I have some more amazing homes to share with you! ♥

Honestly, I wasn’t quite sure which direction I would take at first. And so…I did what every good researcher does: I perused Pinterest. {Click HERE to follow along in Pinterest!} That is when I realized that my heart was most settled when my eyes fell upon any type of natural fall home decor. I loved ALL of the fun decor that I saw, but I think that with the full and often crazy days in this season of my life, that for me: less really is more.
A quick trip to a pumpkin stand, the grocery store, and a stop alongside the road and I had all the natural home decor I felt my heart needed.
A COZY FALL LIVING ROOM
Since this really is where it all began, let’s start in our living room. A few sweet little boo pumpkins, an amber candle, some old books, and tall grass {my son cut along the road for me} were added. With the rug pattern and fluffy pillow colors, I really only wanted to sprinkle a few things around just to remind everyone it really is fall…and pumpkin season!
Remember the wild long grass I mentioned earlier? Here it is and I think that after drying perfectly, it will last a long time.
I still absolutely love this vintage dresser turned tv stand. {Click HERE to see the before photos.}
A vintage bench, books, amber candle and little white pumpkins. Be still my simple-loving heart.
MINIMAL FALL DINING ROOM
I don’t tend towards minimalism…except in our dining room. {Click HERE to see the many stages of this room.} Since we homeschool and my husband works from home we are all home…a lot. That means three meals a day are eaten at this table. This mom is too practical when it comes to cleaning the table. And so, you’ll usually only find a small centerpiece on our table.
For my natural fall home decor feel, I opted for a grouping of brass candlesticks and white taper candles. {Thrifting tip: check second-hand stores to find these for only a dollar or two!}
SIMPLE FALL KITCHEN
Ever since removing our upper cabinets and painting the lower cabinets, I only want to add simple touches to our kitchen. Let the wood, white, and green be the star of the room is my motto. And so, I simply added some fresh wild flowers, a few bowls of apples and pears, and one single white pumpkin. {Click HERE for our open shelves and HERE for how to paint kitchen cabinets.}
Can you spot the pumpkin all by himself up on that shelf? Oh and the pears are called “Starkrimson” and they are amazing!
A TINY TOUCH OF FALL TO OUR ENTRYWAY
Our “front” entryway sits right in between our living room and dining room. After removing the traditional coat closet, the openness has been the answer to getting my family in and out…with as little drama as possible. {Click HERE to see the makeover.}
While moving decor around recently, I sat this mirror on our entryway table. It was only supposed to be there for a few hours. But I decided that I really love the warmth that the wood adds to the space. And so, it stayed.
A sweet little white pumpkin and some fresh flowers and I called our entryway fall decor done. {Missed this DIY faux wallpaper, click HERE.}
A LITTLE NOOK
And before I finish, let’s pop back into our living room for a sure sign that cozy weather is on the way. I recently created a little nook with a game table for my kids. And for the past week, it has doubled as a puzzle table. A little stack of vintage books, my favorite pilea plant, and another tiny white pumpkin adds a little natural fall decor touch to the space. {Click HERE to see this table and chair makeover.}
Thank you for stopping by, friend. And now, pop over to some friends’ homes for some amazing cozy fall home tours. {Thank you to Sara from Twelve on Main for putting together this sweet group of talented bloggers!}
