My New Blog: The Name, The Look, and The Future

Hello, friends!

Do you know what today is?  It’s my birthday and I wanted to give a little gift to you…and me!  And this is it: the official unveiling of my new blog, “The Little by Little Home.”

When I started my original blog, Little by Little Farmhouse, almost 3 years ago, I had no idea how much I would love blogging.  And how much it would do for me.  It has opened opportunities to connect, share, and encourage so many.  I love that I can inspire you and you inspire me back through this wonderful platform.  It truly is an honor that you would take a few moments to join my family and I on whatever kind of project we currently have going on.

This whole blogging gig has pushed me out of my comfort zone a bit…especially at a time when I needed it most.  It has helped me to embrace who God has created me to be and to become happy, content, and proud of that.

I’ve always loved to share what I love.  Whether that is a DIY project, a room makeover, raising children, a favorite book, homeschooling…and the list could go on and on.  And while I have always shared my passions with those around me, blogging has opened up that opportunity much wider. I am so blessed by the connections made here, on Facebook, and on Instagram.

What do you think of the new look?  I had my eye on a theme by Restored316 for quite a while and when I changed my domain name, it seemed like the perfect time to change up the look as well.

So what does the future look like for The Little by Little Home?  Well, you know that plenty of DIY projects and room makeovers are on the way.  But, I hope to regularly add recipes and encouragement posts. Why?  Because when I ask what topics you want to hear from me, these two are often at the top of the list.

But it will still be little ‘ol me here on the other end of the keyboard, sharing real life and my heart through this blog.  I promise that even though our home has changed and I will be adding a little new content, I’ll still be me.  And I look forward to continuing to connect with you through this blog.
