If you’re looking for a great discussion with friends, a “To Kill a Mockingbird” book club is a fantastic solution. The storyline, characters, and time period are thought-provoking, as well as enriching.
After setting up my daughter’s book club {click HERE for that step-by-step process} we found some amazing books for the attendees to discuss. A To Kill a Mockingbird book club was high on the list and it led to a wonderful conversation.

DISCUSSION TIME
None of the girls were familiar with this book, so I was looking forward to them discussing To Kill a Mockingbird. The various characters and the depth of the story, led book club members to an incredibly rich conversation. {Free printable discussion guide…click HERE!}

MOVIE NIGHT
A few weeks after the book discussion, we gathered together to watch the movie. It was fun to watch the girls experience a classic black and white film. After the movie, we had the classic discussion of, “Which was better: the book or the movie?”
